Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how StockSpace ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the StockSpace mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By using StockSpace, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service. The categories below align with the App Store privacy labels:
- Contact info. If you register an account, your name and email address. If you use Sign in with Apple, we may receive a private relay email instead of your real address.
- Identifiers. A user account identifier and, for subscriptions, an anonymized app user ID used to link your purchase to your account.
- User content. The inventory items, spaces, builds, photos, quantities, units, notes, and workspace details you create in the app.
- Purchases. Your subscription status and purchase history, received from Apple and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We never receive your full payment-card number.
- Diagnostics. Basic, non-identifying technical data such as app version, device type, and crash or error logs, used to keep the Service reliable.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers, and StockSpace does not use third-party advertising or tracking.
Optional Etsy integration
If you choose to connect Etsy, StockSpace requests only the read-only listings_r and shops_r permissions. We collect the connected shop identity and an internal reference to that shop, plus listing and variant titles, SKUs, and quantities needed to compare Etsy listing-variant quantities with your StockSpace Builds. We also receive OAuth access and refresh credentials; those credentials are encrypted and stored server-side only while the connection is active. We do not send them to the app, URLs, analytics, crash reports, support tickets, or logs.
The integration is optional and its purpose is a user-initiated, read-only import and comparison. StockSpace does not access Etsy orders, buyers, messages, or other buyer information, and it cannot create, edit, or delete Etsy listings or otherwise write to Etsy.
Imported Etsy catalog data is stored on our servers only while your connection is active and only as needed for the comparison. We use access controls to limit server access to people and service providers who need it to operate or support StockSpace. We do not sell Etsy data, use it for advertising, or use it for analytics, artificial-intelligence features, or model training.
Etsy is a third-party service provider and the Etsy API supplies this integration. Your use of Etsy is also subject to Etsy's API Terms of Use and Etsy's Open API documentation. The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
Etsy controls and deletion
You decide whether to connect Etsy and can disconnect it from StockSpace or ask us to disconnect it at support@stockspace.studio. Disconnecting immediately stops imports and removes StockSpace's Etsy access, encrypted OAuth credentials, imported Etsy catalog data, links, and external-shop identifiers. We do not retain a catalog archive, and you may connect the same shop again later.
We follow the same immediate deletion from live StockSpace account and application data when access is revoked or invalid, Etsy suspends the connection, or you delete your StockSpace account. We may keep only a 90-day accountability record containing the provider, action or reason, timestamp, internal deletion-job result, and opaque internal identifiers; it contains no Etsy identifiers, Etsy content, credentials, or free text. Backups are access-controlled and expire under our hosting provider's backup-retention process. If a backup is restored, the restored data remains subject to the same access and deletion controls.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To sync your data across your devices and the people you share a workspace with
- To manage subscriptions and unlock paid features
- To respond to support requests and communicate important updates
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share data only:
- With members of a workspace you join or create, who can see the shared inventory, builds, and related content in that workspace.
- With service providers who help us operate the Service — including Apple (purchases and Sign in with Apple), RevenueCat (subscription management), and our hosting provider — under agreements that protect your data.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us, and we will delete it within a reasonable period unless we are required to retain it by law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. We honor these requests for all users regardless of location.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You can edit or delete content in the app, and you can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by emailing us.
- EEA / UK (GDPR). Our legal bases for processing are performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service), your consent, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service. You may also object to processing, request restriction or portability, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. California residents may request access to or deletion of their information and will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email support@stockspace.studio. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings.
Children's privacy
StockSpace is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International data transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and encrypted server-side storage for Etsy OAuth credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
